  3. Jan 11,  · No wait. My bad. The name of the live album to which I'm referring is "El Ray-O X Live". That's the one with the killer version of "Mercury Blues" on it. "Mr. Dave" is probably my favorite STUDIO album by him. "Hands Like a Man" is funnier than s--t from the "Mr. Dave" album. It's WD Warner Brothers Japan (the "Mr. Dave" CD).
  4. My Little Man Lyrics: Don't you know I love you more / Than life itself / Don't you know that you're my pride / And I would not have you / Walking through this world / Without me by your side / Go to.
  5. Herb Pedersen's album SOUTHWEST and it's follow up, SANDMAN, are now available on one compact disc on this special release. Herb is joined by Dolly Parton, the late Lowell George, Johnny Rivers and a return appearance by Linda Ronstadt with songs "Sandman," "Tennessee Sal," "My Little Man" and the classic Stanley Brothers' "If I Lose" with Dolly Parton!
  6. BGO's two-fer pairs Herb Pedersen's two mid-'70s albums: 's Southwest and its sequel, Sandman. A better indication of its sensibility is the closing cover of Ralph Stanley's "If I Lose," a far tighter rendition than the one the Band cut a few years earlier, a version highlighted by stacked harmonies and a great bit of slide guitar from Lowell George that brings it close to Little.
